I realized recently that I am becoming someone who does the following things:
1. I am starting to wear a "uniform" in that I gravitate towards wearing a white shirt, jeans and some kind of pointy shoe or sandal everyday. I don't know how this has started and I don't do it everyday, but it is definitely becoming a noticeable trend in my dressing behavior.
2. I am only willing to purchase white cars. This started 10 years ago when I got my first car. It was white. Since then, I've only driven white cars and I only will buy a white car. Black would be the ONLY exception...but I prefer white.
I guess the strange irony to this is that, in my work, I am drawn to very vibrant colors...warm hues, lots of contrast...it's strange. When I dress up, I wear more interesting clothes...but everyday wear is becoming very formulaic and uniform in nature. So what does this say about me? I don't know...

That you're a pasty white girl???? Or you need a blood tranfusion?
Actually - I think the whole dressing in white thing is kinda cool. It's classic and uncomplicated and doesn't compete with what's coming out of your mouth, through your hands or from your heart.
Yeah, good point, Anne...I like looking at it like that! Lord knows what comes out of my mouth doesn't need any competition.
i wear t-shirts and jeans every day of my life and i feel fine about it. most of my shirts are plain colors and if they do have anything on them at all, its pretty minimal. if i'm not at work then i wear khaki shorts and t-shirts. my shoes are always the same. either tsubos or flip-flops. i don't think this is bad.
if i could i would wear flip flops and jeans everyday.. that is with a shirt of course. I like your uni mary. Are you going to start getting an assistant to pick up your non fat triple extra minus 3 pumps latte?
The color of car you prefer can mean something however. Some experts claim those who like red or yellow cars tend to be more adventurous. Those who prefer white or silver tend to be more conservative. Those who like blue or other vibrant colors are often more creative and those who like black and often considered classy drivers. This may or may not pertain to you.
ps. when are we going shopping??
Are you volunteering to be my assistant? I definately need one these days...but I can't drink those nasty sugar-laden coffee drinks that Hank consumes. YUCK.
I don't know about the color of the car thing...I definately don't think I'm conservative...maybe certain aspects of my personality are, but overall, I am not.
I do not want to drive a blue car, however...that sounds awful.
yea, i don't really agree with car thing either.
I think it means you've got better things to worry about.
